We lost a series?

A.J. Burnett had his best stuff and command of the season today, but it wasnt enough as the Yankees fell short of the Rangers and lost a series for the first time in a long while. Oh well, at least the Sox (the homosexual ones) are gonna lose and the Rangers gain a game on them in the wild card.

Even though Burnett had a season-high 12 strikeouts, he was punished for one big mistake pitch on as Ian Kinsler hit a three run home run.

What disappoints me most about AJ is the amount of walks that he surrenders. With two outs in the fourth he issued two walks in a row before giving up a 3 run homer to Kinsler. Burnett needs to limit these walks because it is severely hurting his quality as a pitcher, we cant be giving away those baserunners in a tight game in october.

The Yankees offense was not what we are used to lately. My man Tex was the offensive performer of the game (Tex for MVP!).

and one last thing i have to say today…

F* the Red Sox….. just because….. oh and way to get pounded by the real Sox tonight.

And Boston Chicks are UGLY

Somewhere tonight, Chuck Norris is crying

Andy Pettitte pitched pretty solid as he went seven strong innings and the bombers erupted offensively to take the second game vs the Rangers 9-2. Im going to call him Solid Andy because thats always what he seems to be. Never terrible (except in Boston) and never amazing, however quite remarkably always solid. The Yankees got homers from Jorge Posada and Jerry Hairston Jr. along with a 5 run seventh inning to put down Chuck Norris’ team and back Solid Andy.

This game was crucial for the Rangers because they do not want to get too far behind the Red Sox in the wild card race.(The Red Sox also got a W tonight which puts them 2 ahead of the Rangers now.)

Pettitte has gone undefeated in his past six starts, he limited the Rangers lineup to two runs on only five hits, while he walked three and struck out seven in an impressive outing in which he got plenty of run support

Posada was the first to go deep as he hit a three-run homer off Rangers pitcher Derek Holland (who?) in the second inning. He took Holland’s hanging breaking ball over the left-center field wall for his 17th long ball this season. Jerry Hairston Jr went deep next by adding a solo home run, his second since joining the Yankees, off Holland in the bottom of the fourth.

Every Yankee starter recorded a hit in this contest except for center fielder Melkman. I want Gardener back.

Holland pitched into the seventh inning but left a two-on, none-out jam for reliever Jason Jennings. Derek Jeter gave the bombers two very important insurance runs with a two-run single. Nick Swisher also added an RBI double and Mark (Tex) Teixeira connected for a two-run single in the same inning.

David Murphy (who?) drove in both of the runs for the Rangers against Solid Andy. Murphy knocked in Chris Davis (who?) with a one-out double in the fourth and cut the deficit to two runs in the seventh with his 12th homer of the season, a solo bomb that landed in the Yankees bullpen.

Overall a great performance for the Yankees although by doing so they helped out our foes from Beantown 😦
